Plumtree Group is pleased to announce that it has now sold its DART OCM software product to 10 acute hospitals in the UK within 12 months of its first release. Our biggest and possibly the UK’s most complex order communications requesting and reporting installation is at the Pathlinks laboratory network, which covers 7 hospitals (5 Acute), 2 trusts, and 3 PCTs covering multiple hospital networks and different PCT domains. Additionally each hospital has differing rules management, clinical pathways and PID validation policy, a challenge the system has met while also delivering real tangible cost savings and benefits. Pete Wisher, General Manager at Pathlinks recently said “Plumtree is working in partnership with the Lincolnshire based Path Links managed pathology network to develop the Dart OCM system for requesting and reporting. Within this challenging environment the system is enabling improved service access and eliminating duplicate or unnecessary requests across the Primary and Secondary healthcare interface” Group Sales & Marketing Director, Ben Dorks, says "This a fantastic 12 months for Plumtree Group and shows how far the product has come since its launch release and we expect more of the same over the next 12 months to make us a significant provider of order communications solutions to the UK market." "The strong performance reflects a return on the investment made in software development, which this year saw the release of 2 new products into the DART OCM portfolio radiology and discharge summaries, and new version releases with enhanced functionality for existing software within the range."
